The concerns I have in printmaking are
formal ones like line, form, & composition.

I create landscapes, still lifes, & people.

Kurt Nordwall received his fine arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
The academy awarded him a number of prizes including the J. Henry Shiedt Traveling Scholarship, which
gave him the opportunity for extensive travel in Tahiti, New Zealand, & Australia.

For twelve years he was an instructor in drawing and printmaking at the College of Visual Arts in Saint Paul,
Minnesota.

Currently he works in the Registration Department at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts as an Exhibition
Technician and Master Framer.

Kurt is a supporting member of the Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis. His work was included
in the Fifth International Biennial Dry Point Exhibition 2001 in Uzice, Serbia.
